Naval Reserve Force FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in Naval Base, Virginia

Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will coordinate facility programs and services efficiently. You will monitor, maintain documentation, and report the status of whole center repairs and all major construction projects You will provide program guidance and direction to facility management staff at subordinate activities. You will oversee proper functionality of installed phone systems, to include repair of existing lines and installation of new phone systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS 11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience reviewing maintenance and construction projects for compliance with technical standards and specifications from start to finish. Experience analyzing facility-related documents, including repair contracts, real estate instruments, inter-service agreements, and MOUs. Experience applying fire and hazardous material regulations to provide program guidance, oversight, and safety training. Experience investigating mishaps and providing technical assistance to Collateral Duty Safety Officers (CDSOs) per applicable laws. Education INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration.
