Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Domestic DIB, MRTFB Direct Hire Authority. Responsibilities You will install, repair, modify, troubleshoot, load and test new and existing electrical line, circuits, systems, fixtures and controls located in and near installation building and structures. You will plan and determine the routing, placement, type, size, gauge, balance, load, continuity and safe operation of circuits, systems, equipment and controls. You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems following preventive maintenance guides and trade knowledge. You will use standard techniques and tools to make repairs entailing similar tasks as directed on less complex electronic equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Education Additional Information This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. This position requires exposure to high noise levels. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
