Description
Join Amazon's Global Logistics Supply Chain Design team to build innovative cross-border transportation solutions that connect customers across all seven continents. In this role, you will manage end-to-end carrier deployment projects, integrating third-party (3P) carriers into Amazon's global transportation network while optimizing cost and delivery speed for millions of customers worldwide.
As a Supply Chain Manager II, you will convert business needs into technical requirements, influence project prioritization, and manage carrier deployment projects from conception through operational transition. You will collaborate with technical teams, operations partners, and external carriers to design and implement supply chain solutions that enable sellers to ship cross-border efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to set new standards in global logistics and directly impact how Amazon delivers freight across the globe.
Key job responsibilities
Manage end-to-end carrier onboarding and deployment projects, from requirements gathering through operational transition
Launch and ramp up new supply chain solutions, ensuring successful integration into Amazon's transportation network
Monitor performance metrics and communicate project status updates to senior leadership
Stabilize operations post-launch and transition programs to operational teams
Create and execute detailed project plans with clear milestones, timelines, and testing protocols
Analyze data using Excel and SQL to assess performance against goals and identify improvement opportunities
Collaborate with technical, non-technical, and operations teams globally to gather requirements and establish project scope
A day in the life
You will start your day reviewing program metrics and addressing any operational challenges that have arose. Throughout the day, you will collaborate with teams across multiple time zones, including software engineers, product managers, logistics providers, and operations teams. You will lead project meetings to drive key decisions, analyze performance data to identify trends, and work on process improvements that enhance the seller and customer experience.
Your work may include developing reporting dashboards, strategizing with stakeholders on program enhancements, creating executive presentations that highlight program achievements and opportunities, or troubleshooting technical integration issues with carrier partners. You will balance strategic planning with tactical execution, ensuring projects stay on track while maintaining focus on long-term supply chain optimization.

The Global Logistics Exports team optimizes the cross-border transportation network used in post-order fulfillment to ensure every customer experience meets Amazon's high standards. Our team leverages logistics providers and internal Amazon supply chain solutions to increase selection and lower costs for customers globally. We foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement, where analytical thinking drives decision-making. Team members collaborate across functions and geographies, working with partners in technology, operations, finance, and external carrier networks to solve complex logistics challenges.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of program or project management experience
2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
2+ years of supply chain experience
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
Master's degree

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
