Cognizant Mulesoft Technical Lead in Nashville, Tennessee
As a MuleSoft Tech Lead , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and leading enterprise‑scale MuleSoft integrations and API solutions while driving platform excellence and migration initiatives. You will be a valued member of the integration engineering team and work collaboratively with cross‑functional business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions.

In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integrations and APIs using API‑led connectivity to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions.
Plan and execute migration of MuleSoft APIs and integrations to alternate platforms or technology stacks, including refactoring, functional parity validation, and coordinated cutover with minimal downtime.
Build and secure APIs using Anypoint Design Center, Exchange, and API Manager, including RAML/OAS design, policy enforcement, client ID enforcement, and mutual TLS configuration.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, refine integration designs, and align technical solutions with business objectives.

What you need to have to be considered
Strong ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders in a fast‑paced, highly technical environment.
Experience in MuleSoft with Anypoint Platform experience is required.
Proven ability to work independently, manage assigned responsibilities, and remain aligned with team and organizational goals.
Demonstrated expertise in architecting and interpreting solutions for complex integration and business challenges.
Hands‑on experience leading platform and application migration planning, including approach definition, risk assessment, and cutover strategy.
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution experience within MuleSoft and CloudHub environments.
These will help you stand out
Experience championing engineering excellence through CI/CD, testing, documentation, coding standards, and mentoring team members.
Proven leadership in driving preventative solutions and long‑term platform stability.
Experience promoting secure and effective use of GenAI tools (such as GitHub Copilot) to improve delivery speed, quality, and developer productivity.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and align cross‑functional teams.
Relevant MuleSoft certifications, including MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $ 80,000p.a – $ 128,000p.a , depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
