Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Machine Operators for a food manufacturing facility. These are direct hire placements, where you will play a crucial role in running and commissioning food manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our startup environment.
Pay: $21 to $25hr
Shift: (Mon-Sat) 7:00am - 5:30pm
Location: Nashville, TN
Responsibilities
Operate and commission food manufacturing equipment.
Document issues or concerns and assist in writing SOPs for future operators.
Clean, inspect, and lubricate machines.
Perform simple changeovers using a reference list.
Add and load materials as needed.
Adapt to the dynamic startup environment.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in machine operation, specifically in food production or processing.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to commission new equipment and assist in plant operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in food or non-food machine operation is desired.
Leadership qualities in a production environment.

Work Environment
Our brand new, highly automated plant is dedicated to producing Barebells Protein Bars. You will work on both processing and packing sides of machine operations. Training is provided on the job. Although the plumbing is still being installed, portable bathrooms are available. The facility is climate-controlled to ensure a comfortable work environment. Initially, expect a 6-day work week (Monday-Saturday) with 10-hour shifts from 7am-5pm. You will receive overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 each week. In the future, the schedule may adjust to a 5-day work week with 8 to 10-hour days.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
DP Benes: - $75 Steel Toe/Composite Stipend - Medical, Dental, Vision – 3 Medical plans no high deductible. Anthem BlueCross. - Benes start 1st of month. - 15 PTO days accrued. - 6 Sick days accrued. - 401K after 90 days. 100% match up to 4%.
