Lead Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team. This position involves a variety of carpentry tasks, including installing and hanging drywall, installing doors, windows, baseboards, and hardware, as well as site cleanup and preparation.
Responsibilities
Install and hang drywall.
Install doors, windows, baseboards, and hardware.
Move materials and load/unload trucks.
Use hand tools and read tape measures.
Perform site cleanup and preparation.
Complete finish work, including cutting, installing, and adding baseboards and crown molding for bathrooms and hallways.
Conduct finishing touches on woodwork for the facility.
Repair and install new drywall.
Essential Skills
At least 5 years of carpentry experience.
Ability to read blueprints.
Proficient in carpentry, construction, drywall, commercial construction, repair, and installation.
Familiarity with OSHA standards, demolition, renovation, and finish carpentry.
Skilled in using hand and power tools, including tape measures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
Commercial experience is preferred, but residential experience is acceptable.
Leadership or supervisory experience is ideal.

Work Environment
This is a contract-to-hire position, with future projects upon completion. Typical work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, though these may vary depending on the project. Some projects could start at 6:00 or 6:30 AM, with varying amounts of overtime. Saturday work may occasionally be required for makeup work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
