Job Title: Construction Materials Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Construction Materials Technician to join our team. This role involves performing and documenting tests on various construction materials with a high degree of accuracy. You will collaborate with experienced team members while also working independently to ensure that all test results are thorough, logical, and ready for review. A key part of your responsibilities will include maintaining laboratory equipment in excellent condition and ensuring proper calibration to uphold the lab's efficiency and testing accuracy.
Responsibilities
Perform and document tests on construction materials with accuracy.
Collaborate with team members and work independently to ensure logical and thorough test results.
Maintain all laboratory equipment in excellent condition and ensure proper calibration.
Contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of testing procedures.
Essential Skills
A High School diploma or GED.
0-2 years of experience in a construction materials laboratory.
Effective math skills with a basic understanding of weight, volume, pressure, and units of measure.
Effective communication skills in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
One or more active certifications, such as American Concrete Institute (ACI): Field Testing Grade I, Strength Testing Technician, Laboratory Technician.
International Code Council (ICC): Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils).
Department of Transportation (DOT) Certifications in Aggregate, Conventional Density, Asphalt, and Concrete.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
