Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and laboratory services industry, is seeking a Cerner Lab Information Systems Analyst to join their team. As a Cerner Lab Information Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Laboratory Support Department supporting multiple sites within the Nashville area.
Job Title: Cerner Lab Information Systems Analyst
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Pay Range: $45 per hour
What's the Job?
Perform analysis, maintenance, testing, and support of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
Support system software, database activities, user workflows, training, auditing, reporting, and downtime procedures.
Maintain system software and manage the database for all LIS applications.
Monitor LIS health including error logs, interface queues, and analyzer connectivity.
Participate in change control processes for LIS updates and validate system upgrades and patches.
What's Needed?
High School diploma with applicable experience, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree.
2–4 years of LIS, EHR, or clinical informatics experience.
Preferred exposure to HL7/interfaces and basic SQL or reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and customer service abilities.
