Job Summary
The Information Protection & Security Associate Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of enterprise systems and data through entitlement management, access reviews, procedure development, phishing response, SOX compliance activities and targeted training and education. This role requires an understanding of security principles, access control methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
Major Responsibility:
Review and approve/reject requests for security exceptions and, if rejected as inappropriate or unnecessary, guide requestors to preferred approved alternative solutions.
Conduct periodic reviews of existing security exceptions by reviewing user access reports for appropriateness and working with Workforce Managers to remediate excessive access privileges.
Maintain accurate records of entitlement provisioning, access reviews, and other security-related activities.
As appropriate and at the direction of the IPS Field Operations Program Director, assist with evidence gathering and follow-up for various security controls assurance testing (e.g., SRA, etc.).
Collaborate with IPS Field Security Analysts (who will lead investigation) in response to Phishing Incidents and provide follow up training with colleagues as needed.
Develop, document, and maintain model procedures for security-related tasks, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness training programs.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or Required
High School Graduate/Equivalent and 5+ years’ experience in related field Required
At least 6 months of experience in a security analyst role or related field. Preferred
Experience with enterprise security entitlement provisioning and access reviews. Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Required
Foundational understanding of security principles and access control methodologies. Required
Experience with enterprise security entitlement provisioning systems and processes. Preferred
Familiarity with access review methodologies and tools. Preferred
Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements. Preferred
Experience with phishing analysis and response. Preferred
Licenses, Certifications & Training:
- Security+ or other relevant security or risk management certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC, SSCP, CISSP, CISA) Preferred

- This is an in office role and require one to be located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Area of Nashville, TN
