BAE Systems Senior RF Engineer in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

BAE Systems - RF Capability Group (Nashua, NH) is seeking a strong Senior RF/Microwave Engineer with experience designing Microwave hardware modules. This position requires knowledge and experience designing wideband microwave modules, including receiver front ends, tuners, up/down converters, and/or switch matrices. Candidates are expected to support all phases of development from early-stage architecture reviews through production.

Design leading-edge hardware modules with a focus on small size, low noise, wide bandwidth and/or high linearity

Assist in root cause and corrective action investigations

Generate necessary drawings and documentation

Support proposal and report generation

Mentor junior engineers

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Secret Clearance Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific field and 4 years related experience

2 years relevant design experience with specialization in RF, microwave, or millimeter-wave engineering

Fluent with Keysight ADS (preferred) or equivalent software

Strong communication and writing skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience designing tuner modules and/or frequency converters; mixers, phase lock loops

Familiarity with one or more of the following: Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Microwave Office

Master s degree in engineering or scientific field preferred, but not required.

Understands and enjoys the challenges of a demanding mission critical environment

Ability to work across company s technical and non-technical functional disciplines

Able to travel and provide technical support to subcontractors and customers

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
