BAE Systems Principal Program Control Analyst (Hybrid) in Nashua, New Hampshire
Job Description
Project finance plans, controls, and reports program performance relating to cost and schedule according to the Earned Value Management System. Project finance is a well-rounded role that introduces an employee to the various facets of BAE Systems finance. This role will specifically support the THAAD program, which is a part of the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line in the Precision Strike and Sensing Solutions (PS) Business Area. This role offers experience in a rapidly growing area of the business with dynamic programs. We are looking for motivated individuals excited by the prospect to grow their Financial Analyst acumen.
This role will be conducted in a Hybrid work format , with the individual splitting their time between our offices at the specified site, and remotely . Our preference for this role, is that the individual reside within a comfortable daily commute of our BAE Systems site in Nashua, NH or Huntsville, AL .
In this role, you will:
Support program control activities for the THAAD portfolio of programs with associated EVMS reporting requirements through the use of COBRA tool.
Lead on portion of THAAD family and provide cross-functional partnership and exercise sound judgement in issuing financial direction to the team.
Contribute to the establishment of accurate program financial forecasts, including the Operating Plan, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and the long-term Integrated Business Plan (IBP)
Provide financial data and analysis enabling timely business decision-making
Influence favorable program execution via robust baseline management, application of EVMS principles, developing realistic Estimate at Completions (EACs), and actively reporting risks and opportunities
Ensure compliance to internal controls while seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement
Assist with proposal support as required

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree and 4 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
Experience working with Program Management , Program Controls , Program Finance , and/or Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and processes in a Government contracting environment
Experience working in Deltek Cobra EVM software
Demonstrated ability to support program managers and their control account managers with the use and maintenance of program controls systems and metrics/reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with particular efficiency using Microsoft Excel
Experience managing, analyzing, and extracting insights from large datasets
Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
Strong interpersonal skills to interact cross functionally
Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with company policies and procedures
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with Oracle and Hyperion,
Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment
Understanding and knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policies
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $101398 - $172377
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
