Position is second shift with a 4/10(Monday-Thursday) schedule.

In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.

BAE Systems is looking for an Engineering Assistant on the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) operations test and manufacturing team. This position will supports multiple factories in Nashua, NH including the Area 5 factory after necessary clearances have been obtained.

The Position will include the following duties:

  • Provides support to the factory by working with the technical teams and methods writers with updating processes and completing PPV/FAIs.

  • Assist technical and production teams to effectively flow material through the factory.

  • Assist technical teams with engineering evaluations, validations and compilation of results or reporting. Assist with first builds or process establishment or verification.

  • Support the technical teams with debug and evaluation.

  • Work with factory teams for process or factory continuous improvements.

  • Performing preventative maintenance on select fixtures or equipment and logging status within the maintenance system.

  • Assist operations teams with training.

  • Provide technical support for various processes within the factory.

  • Assisting Engineers and other Engineer Assistants as needed.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High School Diploma OR GED with minimum 4 years production or factory experience

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.

  • Ability to work independantly to achieve objectives.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Associate or bachelor s degree in an engineering discipline.

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Preventative Maintenance experience.

  • Understanding of basic Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Knowledge of RF, Microwave subassemblies or electro/mechanical assemblies.

  • Proficient at interpreting engineering documentation including but not limited to schematics, assembly drawings, and component data sheets.

  • Familiarity with process authoring and MES system usage within a factory setting.

  • Familiarity with non-conforming material control and processing.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $75998 - $121597

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
