The Tactical Aircraft Electronic Warfare Solutions Product Line (TacAir) within Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering, and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. This role will be responsible to lead and manage a team of Procurement professionals at various experience levels in supplier evaluations, negotiations, contract award, supplier management, and execution to meet or exceed business requirements. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers. They will be responsible for procurement team compliance and continuous improvement initiatives (root cause & corrective action) to optimize supplier performance and to achieve Zero Defects.
The ideal candidate will develop procurement and material / commodity strategies. Ensure quick resolution of technical and programmatic issues, participate in and contribute to management reviews, technical meetings, and internal or external audits.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment
Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and the understanding of the role of procurement in complex industries.
Experience leading major procurement efforts in a Department of War (DOW) contracting environment.
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and the nature of flow down requirements.
Experience buying across various commodities (electronics, mechanical, PWB s, cables, optics)
Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual and performance issues with suppliers.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and 8 years or more of directly related work experience preferably in a government-contracting environment.
U.S. Citizenship

Familiarity with Oracle purchasing system
Technical Background (Ability to read drawings)
Graduate Degree in a related field.
Professional Supply Chain Certification: C.P.M., C.P.S.M., P.M.P.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118747 - $201870
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
