Maumee Valley Bottlers Accounting/Administrative Support Specialist in Napoleon, Ohio
Job Summary We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting / Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This role combines core accounting support functions with administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced, small-to-mid-sized business environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice entry, payment preparation, customer invoicing, and payment application • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records with high accuracy • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, files, and documentation • Support month-end and year-end closing processes under supervision • Prepare basic financial reports and assist with data entry into accounting software • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data organization, correspondence, and coordination with vendors/customers • Monitor deadlines for payments, filings, and reporting requirements • Collaborate with operations, sales, and management teams to resolve billing or payment inquiries • Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in implementing efficiencies • Perform other accounting, administrative, and support duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills Required: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively • Strong attention to detail and highly organized work style • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude • Consistent punctuality and strong reliability • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines consistently, even under pressure • Genuine desire to progress, learn new skills, and take on increasing responsibility over time • Basic working knowledge of accounting principles (debits/credits, financial statements, bookkeeping fundamentals)
