WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?
Assist with coordinating subcontractors and vendors, maintain project documentation and support project management on active construction projects.
Field Operations: Assist with site layout and maintain organized job sites.
Project Documentation: Assist with tracking subcontractor progress using GIS tools, create and update project drawings, maintain RFI and submittal logs, and generate meeting minutes and status reports.
Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Help coordinate deliveries and work goals for subcontractors and vendors.
Quality Control & Safety: Support quality control programs and help ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Meeting Participation: Attend project meetings, document activities, and help track progress and issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Currently pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Experience
Technical Skills: Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, with an ability to read and understand construction documents. GIS skills are desirable but not required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with project teams and other stakeholders.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team-playing abilities are crucial for success.
Attitude: A positive attitude, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to anticipate and address problems are highly valued.
