Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Civil Project Managers specializing in Land Development to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our Architecture and Engineering services, offering the opportunity to lead a diverse range of Civil Engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will thrive on technical challenges, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate strong leadership qualities. This position is predominantly remote, with the requirement to be commutable to one of our office locations for team events and meetings.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects across various clients simultaneously, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met and communicated effectively.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
Participate in new client pursuits as necessary, enhancing business development efforts.
Manage the financial performance for projects, including accounts receivable, profit, and efficiency.
Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
Manage project plans by allocating resources, preparing and monitoring project budgets, and scheduling within project parameters.
Provide risk assessment on projects, estimating potential risks along with costs and probabilities.
Define design criteria and supervise efficient design and plan preparation, ensuring quality and compliance with company, client, and industry standards.
Demonstrate an understanding of constructability and complex design, identifying liability issues related to design and construction.
Coordinate effectively with internal disciplines and external project teams.
Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Project Designers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
8+ years of Civil Engineering Project Management experience in site/civil production, preferably with commercial projects such as retail, hospitality, and/or fueling.
Experience with or willingness to learn TR-20, TR-55, HEC-1, HydroCAD, Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, and WaterCAD for site development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in project management and civil engineering principles.
Experience with civil 3D, land development, design, site development, stormwater, drainage, grading, civil design, engineering, site plan, site design, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $185000.00/yr.
