Responsibilities for a Specialist, Logistics include but are not limited to:
Order Entry & Load Management: Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system ; monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to verify loads arrive on time and in good condition.
Traffic Coordination & Dispatching: Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers; take check calls to ensure on-time delivery and validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
Account Support & Communication: Update account managers, receivers, and customers on load status and problem loads; schedule and reschedule delivery appointments based on direction from management.
Documentation & Problem Resolution: Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages ( OS&D ); complete appropriate documentation and write routine reports and correspondence.
Candidates for Specialist, Logistics must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Industry Knowledge: Must have a general knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to effectively support routing and dispatching functions.
Technical & Communication Skills: Ability to use logistics software systems; strong communication skills to provide instructions to drivers and status updates to customers.
Problem Solving & Detail Orientation: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions and accurately validate load data for financial reporting.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Occasional Saturdays required)

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
