Position Title: Application Engineer Intern - Summer 2026 (Naperville, IL)

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

As an Application Engineer Intern , you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and operations teams who genuinely want to help you learn. You’ll get hands‑on experience with real customer projects, see your work come to life, and deepen your CAD and engineering skills in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Create approval and manufacturing drawings for equipment — and work directly with project coordinators, customers, and sales teams to finalize them.

  • Build 3D CAD models using software like Inventor or SolidWorks.

  • Review customer specs to make sure what we design meets expectations and matches what was quoted.

  • Flag potential problems or technical issues before the design goes into production.

  • Collaborate with Application Engineers to review your drawings and strengthen your technical approach.

  • Jump in on additional engineering tasks as needed to support the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • You’re pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Structural , or Agricultural Engineering .

  • You have experience with 3D CAD modeling (Inventor or SolidWorks preferred).

  • You communicate clearly — both in writing and in conversation.

  • You’re comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

  • You enjoy problem‑solving and explaining technical ideas in a way others can understand.

  • You bring integrity, accountability, curiosity, and a strong work ethic to everything you do.

  • You have mechanical aptitude and are excited about machine design and fabricated equipment.
