EZ Loader NW Facility Manager in Napavine, Washington

We're looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee operations, support our teams, and help drive performance at our Napavine, Washington facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, optimizing processes, and ensuring high-quality output in a manufacturing setting.


? What You'll Do

As the Facility Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of our facility, including:

  • Leading operations, scheduling, assembly flow, and overall facility performance.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring daily/weekly metrics are met or exceeded.
  • Driving cost-optimization efforts and reporting on performance against targets. 
  • Meeting departmental goals for schedule attainment and gross margin.
  • Managing and developing staff---setting expectations, coaching, and maintaining a positive team environment.
  • Overseeing hiring and termination decisions at the facility level. 
  • Partnering with the Sales team and other organizational leaders to support company-wide performance and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. 
  • Promoting training, safety, and continuous improvement across the facility. 

What We're Looking For

You'll be successful in this role if you bring strong leadership abilities and a passion for operational excellence. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Associate degree or higher (preferred). 
  • 3--5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office programs. 
  • Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude. 
  • Experience in sales/marketing and knowledge of boats and trailers. 
  • Ability to apply basic math skills and read/write simple instructions. 
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to participate in lean/continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S. 

Physical + Work Environment

This role requires the ability to:

  • Sit or stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and use hands frequently.
  • Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in an environment with moving mechanical parts and moderate noise; frequent exposure to outdoor climates.

Compensation

 

This position starts at $85,000; the actual starting salary will vary based on experience.
