Job Title: Installer Technician
Job Description
Seeking skilled Installer Technicians to join a project team involved in erecting racking systems for tire storage at a new Goodyear Tire plant. The role involves using hand and power tools to construct metal racking and requires working at elevated platforms.
Responsibilities
Utilize hand and power tools to install metal racking systems.
Work on elevated platforms and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to project timelines.
Essential Skills
Experience with general labor, power tools, installation assembly, and construction.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to lift 50lbs.
Comfortable working at heights.
Experience in one of the following roles: Apprentice Millwright/tech, skilled labor, construction labor, scaffolder, carpenter, rigger.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
EWP - Elevated Work Platform certification.
Scissor lift and fall certification.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.

Work Environment
Work on a day shift starting at 7 AM with 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday and optional shorter shifts on Saturdays. The work environment is a construction site at a Kal Tire warehouse, where safety gear such as hard hats, steel-toed shoes, and safety vests are required. The project is expected to last a minimum of three months, with possibilities for extension.
