Cooks, Short Order: Ridge, LLC dba Island Kitchen located on the island of Nantucket, MA off the coast of Cape Cod in Nantucket County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2026-12/10/2026, At least 38 hours p/week, 5-6 days per week, days and shifts may vary, weekends and holidays are required, 7am-2pm and/or 2pm-10pm. (31) Openings. Will train to prepare and cook menu items that require a short preparation time; cooking a variety of foods that need fast service. Items to include eggs, omelets, toast, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and wraps. Also, plate and garnish, and store food. Practice sanitary food procedures. Also responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the work area and equipment. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. \$19.90 p/hour or \$29.85 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 p/day during travel to a maximum of \$68 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Monday at 12:01 am and ending Sunday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by the employer, employee cost for housing is \$135 per week and is paid directly by employee to employer each pay period. Housing is optional. Transportation is not provided to worksite.
