Short Order Cooks: Annapurna Restaurants, LLC dba Sophie Ts Pizza located on Nantucket Island, MA off the coast of Cape Cod in Nantucket County; Temporary, Full-time, 05/01/2026-10/31/2026, At least 36 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary, also split shifts. Shifts required to work are: 10am-2pm, 10am-3pm, 4pm-9pm and/or 5pm-9pm. (5) Openings. Will train to prepare and cook a variety of foods that require only a short preparation time such as pizza dough, pizza, breads, sandwiches, subs and wraps, pasta, and wings. Preparation time is 10 to 15 minutes and requires the use of spatulas, knives, and other kitchen utensils as needed. Other daily food preparation includes assembling cold sandwiches, grilling hot sandwiches, and preparing and portioning salads. Job duties other than cooking include: cleaning the work area, maintaining utensils and cooking equipment, restocking and managing supplies, dating and rotating perishables. No education or prior work experience is required. On-the-job training is provided. \$19.90 p/hour and overtime is not available. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 p/day during travel to a maximum of \$68 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employers will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Sunday at 12:01 am and ending Saturday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is \$150 per week and is paid directly by employee to employer each pay period. Housing is optional. Transportation is not provided to worksite.
