COOKS, SHORT ORDER: Steamboat Wharf Pizza, Inc. dba Steamboat Pizza located on Nantucket Island, MA off the coast of Cape Cod in Nantucket County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2026-10/31/2026. 39 hours p/week, 6 days per week, days and shifts may vary. Shifts required to work are: 9:30am-5pm and/or 5pm-11pm. (6) Openings. Will train to prepare and cook menu items (pizza) that require a short preparation time. Cooking pizza to order in the oven, hand stretching pizza dough, applying sauce, cheese and toppings as per order. Prepping in advance according to company recipes, pizza dough, pizza sauce, grating fresh mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Requires using hand utensils, cutting boards, knives, pizza cutter and pizza peel. Clean work equipment and keep work areas clean. \$19.90 p/hour. Overtime is not available. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 p/day during travel to a maximum of \$68 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting Friday at 12:01 am and ending Thursday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Monday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Housing is not provided by the employer. Transportation is not provided to the worksite.
