Job Responsibilities
In project phase
Cooperate closely with technical manager, be involved and need to contribute to every step in the project (basic engineering, detailed engineering , construction , function testing and commissioning phase).
Communicate with project team to clarify the emulsion lines' concept, define the materials, process, testing plan, technical topic and so on.
Support the application for official approval, with safety analysis and environmental impact study/analysis.
Responsible for set up dispersion testing and know-how transferring.
Support the commissioning activities for dispersion lines.
In normal production phase
Be responsible for the EHSS and Product Stewardship of related area and positions to ensure compliance of the company policy and regulations and national laws and related regulations.
Responsibility for reaction safety, product safety for VAE plant, to ensure compliance with regulations; and meet all requirements from Wacker corporate, Nanjing site and his/her position.
Technical knowledge and process control concepts transfer within company global
Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Closely monitor production process, check existed problem and solve
Bring up modification scheme to optimize process
Direct workers engaged in inspection activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities and products
Direct workers engaged in production activities to ensure optimal control over process
Play active role on quality management teams within organization.
Design and implement quality control training programs
Design and implement process control training programs
Investigate customer quality complaints and make adjustments
Implement LEAN and TPM program in production and quality control area to ensure a higher optimal production
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
Fluent both oral and written English skill
Bachelor degree or above in chemical engineering or chemistry
More than 4 years working experience in dispersion production, engaged in quality assurance and process control
Minimum 2 years experience in production supervision or quality assurance or process engineering position in multinational company
Knowledge in dispersion polymerization process or other related chemical process is required
Knowledge in SAP, lean manufacturing, TPM is highly preferred
Management, communication and problem solving skill
Able to work together with international team, own globe mindset
A team player
