Honeywell PMO-Mech Design in Nanjing, China
Graduate/post graduate engineer with 4+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electronics manufacturing technologies, design principles and leadership skillset
As VECE Transitions Mech Design engineer, you will address productivity through engineering changes, Transitions & product teardown
Work closely with business leaders to identify products for regional productivity and bring an impact on gross margin improvement
Work with offering directors for competitive benchmarking, and margin improvement areas
Work on engineering changes, Make Vs Buy analysis, adopt Total cost modeling and report out the proposals.
Ability to adopt the changes in requirements and make quick decisions, excellent team handling abilities.
Knowledge on manufacturing cost breakup, should cost analysis, material model overview, global economic trends and ability to interpret the data for constructive discussion between supplier and cross functional teams
Material selection based on durability and cost effectiveness, drive process improvements, knowledge on finishing process and optimization
Knowledge of supplier’s global footprints
Analyze costs and develop strategies to improve cost-efficiency for both existing and new designs.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or its equivalent
Fluent in English speaking and writing
Excellent project management, communications and presentation skills.
