Ford Motor Company Service Parts Engineering Analyst in Nanchang, China
Delivery the service parts related deliverables timely to support JMC export program launch.
PCII Release starts MP2-10months
Catalogue build starts MP2-8 months
Draft IPL (Initial Part list) MP2 – 6months
Catalogue available for publication
Generate and maintain service parts list for China market programs including local Lincoln & Ford import programs for new model launch and lead catalog generation activities to ensure all China LVEA programs be catalogued timely
Manage and monitor PCII releasing status to ensure service required parts be released in Ford PCII system (life cycle) to support FCSD downstream system and activities, like service part list, catalog, and parts readiness for order & supply
Maintain service parts list (whole life cycle) with service required data including P/N, Description, Supplier info etc. which feeding from upstream system
Update the service part list with weekly base to reflect latest the parts parameter change timely
Loaded all changes into FCO panda on time based on service parts list to ensure dealer can release order
Ensure catalog can be published as deliverables for GPDS gateway to support new program OKTB
Leverage the supplier to develop catalog with high quality including accurate catalogue text and illustrations in appropriate sections which dealer can find right parts quickly
Review and monitor the Catalog reflect performance for all China LVEA programs to ensure the running change information been uploaded into catalog with latest edition
Track catalog correction progress on P/N or illustrations to avoid wrong order released by dealer side
Work with catalog supplier to solve the catalog issues which raised by dealer or customer side.
Qualification Required:
Bachelor’s degree at engineering or vehicle engineering
Minimum 5 years’ workplace experience within the Automotive Industry
Previous experience in D&R or related field
Knowledge of Vehicle engineering BOM and engineering Structure
Criteria (including key competencies):
Strong understanding of GPDS timeline requirements.
Strong understanding of Ford Engineering system (WERS)
Strong understanding of Engineering BOM and Engineering Structure, Service BOM and PCII is preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
Sense of urgency and customer satisfaction mindset
Result driven and ability to handle multiple projects within a given timeframe.
Self-motivated, good logic and ability to work in a team environment.
Program management experience is preferred.
