Job Title: Materials Assistant - 1st Shift Job Description
We are seeking dedicated material handlers to join our team on the 1st shift. Candidates with experience in inventory, material handling, packaging, and labeling are encouraged to apply. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be responsible for kitting parts for production, counting, and sorting small components accurately. As an Inventory Handler, you will perform site warehousing functions that support manufacturing operations and other customer-related activities.
Responsibilities
Understand and follow quality and safety policy guidelines, customer specifications, and adhere to regulatory compliance.
Work independently without supervision and escalate information to leaders as necessary.
Adapt quickly to change, manage priorities, and make decisions effectively.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in enhancing the work environment.
Essential Skills

Flexibility to adapt to new tasks and move to different areas to meet changing demands
Ability to work overtime, nights, various shifts, and weekends as required

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or GED is preferred
One or more years of related experience is preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and bar code scanners
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time
Capability to lift, reach, push, and pull up to 45 pounds as required
Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment

Work Environment
The work setting consists of a manufacturing environment with clean and orderly workstations, suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level. The 1st shift operates Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2 pm, with frequent overtime required.

This is a Contract position based out of Nampa, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
