Key Responsibilities
As the Reservation Manager for both hotels, you will oversee all reservation operations and ensure the team delivers accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include:
Driving performance by optimizing room reservations to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR
Managing inventory and rate strategy across domestic and international OTAs (Rakuten, Ikyu, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.)
Leading, coaching, and scheduling the reservations team
Communicating professionally with guests, travel agencies, and external partners
Overseeing daily operations of the PMS and channel manager systems
Handling cancellations, overbooking situations, and risk mitigation
Partnering closely with the Front Office, Sales & Marketing, and other key departments
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hands-on hotel reservation experience (any brand/segment welcomed)
Strong knowledge of OTA platforms, PMS operations, and other reservation-related systems
Business-level proficiency in Japanese
Previous supervisory or team management experience at Assistant Manager level or above
Conversational-level English (fluency not mandatory) or above
Working knowledge of OPERA, regardless of the department you currently or previously worked with
Management experience within the hospitality industry

Working Hours
Shift-based; 8 hours of work + 1 hour break
**Primarily daytime shifts (no night shifts)
