Eaton Corporation Regulators Production Support Operator - 1st Shift in Nacogdoches, Texas
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Regulators Production Support Operator - 1st Shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be manadatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $19.75 per hour.

What you’ll do:
The Production Support Operator will complete various tasks to support the production of transformer coils.
In this function, you will:
• Perform tasks across various work stations, including assembly, and material handling.
• Verify the size, part number, condition, and quantity of issued materials.
• Prepare, collect, and distribute materials needed for building (assembly)
• Transfer kits and work in process for assembly orders to operators.
• Unload and load racks with forklift.
• Inspect units for errors, load them onto material handling equipment, and scan product if necessary.
• Return unused materials to their designated locations, ensuring proper marking for inventory accuracy, and move finished products to its designated area.
• Perform tasks to optimize product flow and maximize builder productivity.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack to transport materials and finished products as needed.
• Oversee and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols to guarantee the safe deactivation and isolation of equipment, ensuring energy control procedures are correctly applied to prevent inadvertent machine startup or hazardous energy discharge during repair or maintenance, in line with OSHA regulations and organizational safety guidelines.
• Safely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility.
• Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Nacogdoches, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
Position Success Criteria:
Must demonstrate effective communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and a positive work ethic, comprehends written and verbal work instructions accurately, and upholds Eaton’s Values and philosophy.
Ability to complete onsite training and obtain a valid Eaton forklift operator certification.
Ability to interpret document specifications and perform mathematical functions as required.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Must be able to work efficiently in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.
