Emerson Senior Event Specialist (m/f/d) in MÜNCHEN, Germany
The Event Specialist plays a key role in delivering NI’s events, tradeshows, and virtual programs across the EMEA region. This position supports the end‑to‑end execution of event logistics, vendor coordination, virtual platform setup, and cross‑functional alignment to ensure every event runs smoothly and reflects NI’s brand standards. Working closely with global marketing teams, business units, sales, and external partners, the Event Specialist helps bring event strategies to life through disciplined project management, strong communication, and a commitment to operational excellence. This role requires someone who can plan and align effectively, collaborate across teams and time zones, and take action with confidence in fast‑moving environments. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Support the planning and execution of NI‑hosted events, tradeshows, and virtual programs across EMEA.
Coordinate venue logistics, onsite operations, signage, catering, registration, and attendee experience.
Apply best practices for digital, in‑person, and hybrid event formats, with strong emphasis on virtual event delivery.
Partner with global marketing, business units, sales, and external agencies to align event strategy, messaging, and execution.
Support virtual event setup and delivery, including ON24 configuration, presenter coordination, and live/on‑demand management.
Contribute creative ideas to elevate event activations and improve attendee engagement.
Ensure all event elements are on‑brand and aligned across websites, mobile apps, email, and promotional channels.
Maintain disciplined project management practices to ensure timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
Manage agency partners and internal contributors throughout planning, execution, and post‑event wrap‑up.
Analyze event performance data to generate insights that optimize future event investments.
Present confidently to internal stakeholders and support executive‑level engagement.
Collaborate with global teams across time zones, including occasional early morning or evening meetings.
Travel up to >30% to support in‑person and NI‑hosted events.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years of experience in event coordination, event marketing, or experiential marketing (B2B preferred).
Experience supporting virtual, hybrid, and in‑person events.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com, ON24, and Microsoft Teams Webinar/Live Events.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with a disciplined approach to execution.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%, including internationally.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Experience supporting global event programs for multinational audiences.
Familiarity with virtual event production and webinar delivery.
Strong project and budget management skills.
Experience working with executive‑level stakeholders.
CMP or other relevant event/marketing certifications.
