Part-Time Maintenance Worker to work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.  Must be reliable and willing to work after-hours emergencies, nights, and weekends.  Will be on call as needed.  Must be hard working, able to handle the physical aspects of the job, dependable and have a friendly personality towards citizens and work well with others.  Preference will be given to an individual living within Myton City limits or 10 minutes' drive of Myton City.  Must be able to respond within 10 minutes of an emergency.

The ability to read, write, comprehend and follow verbal instructions in English and may require the ability to perform basic arithmetic, geometric and algebraic calculations in order to perform the duties described.  Communicate well with others both orally and in writing.  Understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures, and instructions.  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  A copy of your current driver's license and a recent driving record from the DMV must be included with the application.  Will assist with preventative maintenance on all equipment.  Must have knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.  Assume the duties of mechanic and light carpentry when required.  Will be assigned to assist with snow removal on all city roadways and sidewalks.  Experience with tractors, loaders, and backhoes and demonstrate competence in using lawnmowers, brush hogs, weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.  Must be proficient with hand tools and a self-starter that is able to work unsupervised.  High School Diploma or GED required.
