Job Description
The Project Manager leads complex, cross‑functional programs from early development through production launch, ensuring that all work remains aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and technical objectives. This role sits at the center of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer interaction, coordinating activities across teams to deliver high‑quality, mission‑critical hardware products. The Project Manager balances formal project management discipline with a hands‑on, adaptable approach to problem‑solving in a fast‑paced, technically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional programs from initial kickoff through final delivery, ensuring alignment with defined scope, schedule, and objectives.
Coordinate day‑to‑day activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations to keep projects on track.
Build, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
Oversee project budgets, resource planning, and material coordination to support smooth and efficient project execution.
Monitor project progress against plan, identify risks and issues early, and implement mitigation and contingency plans to protect delivery commitments.
Ensure products and programs meet engineering requirements, internal quality standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Serve as a central communication point for internal teams and customer stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent information flow.
Facilitate timely resolution of technical and operational issues by bringing together the right stakeholders and driving decisions.
Prepare, update, and present project status reports, risk summaries, and performance metrics to leadership and key stakeholders.
Oversee new product and customer programs from early development through production launch, ensuring alignment between design, manufacturing, and customer expectations.
Clarify priorities, remove obstacles, and adjust plans as needed to keep programs moving forward in fast‑paced or technically complex environments.
Support coordination of prototype builds, testing activities, and product qualification milestones within the overall project plan.
Essential Skills
Proven project management experience overseeing engineering or manufacturing projects, preferably involving hardware products.
Experience leading cross‑functional programs that span engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations.
Demonstrated ability to build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones for complex programs.
Experience overseeing project budgets, resource planning, and material coordination in a production or product development environment.
Ability to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation plans to protect delivery commitments.
Experience supporting power electronics, embedded systems, or PCB‑based products.
Familiarity with hardware development lifecycles and engineering change processes.
Hands‑on exposure to prototype builds, testing, and product qualification activities.
Working knowledge of engineering design tools such as Altium, SolidWorks, or equivalent platforms.
Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to serve as a central point of contact for internal teams and customer stakeholders.
Ability to prepare and present clear project status updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics to leadership.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
