Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial production equipment, including furnaces and automated machinery. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, belts, and PLC-controlled equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the facility.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair furnaces, production equipment, and facility systems to ensure continuous and safe operation.
Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment such as hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, belts, motors, and three-phase systems.
Conduct electrical troubleshooting on PLC-controlled equipment and other industrial electrical systems up to 480V.
Use PLC troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation to support accurate diagnosis and repair.
Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned outages.
Carry out equipment changeovers and adjustments to support production needs and product changes.
Use basic welding skills to repair and maintain equipment and structural components as needed.
Utilize hand tools and industrial maintenance tools safely and effectively during installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
Document maintenance work performed and communicate equipment status and issues to appropriate team members.
Support a safe work environment by following established safety procedures and reporting equipment or facility hazards.
Essential Skills
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and electronics, equivalent to a two-year technical college education.
Proficiency in industrial electrical troubleshooting, including work on systems up to 480V.
Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, belts, and motors.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
Experience with three-phase electrical systems.
Basic welding experience for equipment and facility repairs.
Proven ability to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on industrial equipment.
Competent use of hand tools and standard industrial maintenance tools.
Experience working in an industrial or automotive-related environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Two-year technical college education or equivalent knowledge in electrical systems and electronics.
Experience in industrial maintenance within automotive or construction-related industries is beneficial.
Comfort working with highly automated machinery and learning unique, specialized equipment through extended training.
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team in a production environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex equipment issues.

Team members wear steel-toe footwear and work pants as part of the dress code and regularly work around industrial furnaces, conveyors, and automated systems. The setting emphasizes safety, hands-on maintenance work, and collaboration within a production-focused operation.

This is a Permanent position based out of Murfreesboro, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.
2.5 weeks PTO after 1 year Benefits - Dental, Vision, Health 3% 401K Match, up to 6% invested 10 Paid Holidays
