ITT Quality Control Analyst in Munro, Argentina

Position Summary

Ensure compliance with ITT Corporation's Quality and Environmental, Health, Hygiene, and Safety (EHS) standards in its Argentine operations, guaranteeing reliable, safe products and processes aligned with corporate, legal, and customer requirements.

Lead the management of the Integrated Quality and EHS Management System, promoting continuous improvement, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance in all operational areas.

Essential Responsibilities

Quality Area

• Manage the Quality Management System according to ITT IP guidelines and international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and any other standards the corporation deems necessary).

• Develop, document, and update procedures, instructions, control plans, and forms.

• Coordinate inspections and quality controls at the receiving, in-process, and finished product levels.

• Manage Nonconformities, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and 8D.

• Maintain the Quality Register, indicators, and dashboards for corporate use.

• Coordinate and lead internal audits, ITT corporate audits, and customer audits.

• Manage the handling of customer technical complaints: root cause analysis and warranty management.

• Verify and qualify suppliers in conjunction with Purchasing.

• Ensure the calibration and traceability of critical measuring instruments. ESH&S Area

• Ensure compliance with Argentine legislation (Law 19.587, 24.557, and regulations) and ITT standards in Safety, Hygiene, Environment, and Asset Security.

• Coordinate the external ESH&S service and supervise its performance.

• Develop risk matrices, work permits, safe task analyses, emergency plans, and drills.

• Manage the annual safety plan: training, PPE use, and safe procedures.

• Manage incidents, near misses, investigations, and reports to ITT Corporate.

• Monitor environmental indicators (waste, effluents, emissions, energy).

• Supervise municipal permits and current legal documentation.

• Lead the prevention culture in the Workshop, Warehouse, and offices.

Management and Operational Support

• Advise Workshop, Warehouse, Production Planning and Control (PPC), Engineering, and Purchasing leaders on Quality and EHS (Environmental, Health, Safety, and Hygiene) matters.

• Issue monthly reports for Operations and quarterly reports for IP Corporate.

• Participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, Lean, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).

• Train personnel and ensure their competence in quality and safety matters.

Position Requirements

Education level: Industrial/Mechanical Engineer or similar.

Technical/Professional training in the area of ​​Safety, Health, and Environment.

Verifiable experience in the management and administration of quality systems – Minimum 3 years.

Knowledge and experience working in ISO 9001/14001 certified companies.

Experience in manufacturing/inspection/testing processes in the rotating components and equipment industry.

Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings.

Ability to manage foundry processes and terminology.

Experience and ability to analyze management indicators and generate reports.

Proficiency in production control systems (ERP).

User-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
