Supervise engineering personnel in day-to-day duties. Lead and develop engineering team (annual reviews, lead by example, best practices). Define, design, develop and test new and existing products. Create new products as well as improve existing products using 3D CAD software for parts, assemblies and all technical drawings as needed to build the product. Implement new technology and ideas into product and systems to remain competitive as well as reduce manufacturing cost. Analyze, evaluate and continuously improve product, process efficiencies, etc., including analyzing statistics and defining KPIs. Support sales staff and customers in trouble shooting and technical information. Build strong relationships with customers, Sales, Operations resulting in high quality product, customer experience success, and increased sales growth. Work within a team environment, building relationships with internal customers such as Regional Sales Managers, Purchasing, Operations, etc.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's (or foreign equivalent) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related and five years of work experience in the Job Offered or as a Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or related. Some work experience required with: 1) 3D design software (Creo); 2) ERP systems (Epicor and SAP); 3) Product lifecycle management (PLM) software Windchill; and 4) Microsoft Office. Alternatively, will accept Master's (or foreign equivalent) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related and 3 years of work experience in the Job Offered or as a Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or related, in lieu of the Bachelor's degree and 5 years of work experience.
