World Wide Technology Team Lead, Digital Architect in Mumbai, India
Own and drive system architecture decisions for programs within your scope, designing scalable solutions and ensuring architectural quality across assigned delivery teams.
Research, architect, and drive technical solutions consisting of multiple technologies to meet complex system requirements.
Develop prototypes for client pitches and manage them through to completion, collaborating with more senior architects as needed.
Conduct technology reviews, assessments, and dependency mapping exercises to evaluate client technological environments and identify improvement opportunities.
Communicate architectural and technical decisions to internal stakeholders, fellow architects, and WWT Digital team members.
Provide technical oversight and direction for engineers as a member of a multi-person architecture team.
Serve as performance manager for a team of Associate Digital Architects and Digital Architects, providing regular coaching, feedback, and career development support.
Facilitate team coordination, including workload management and onboarding of new team members.
Partner with senior architects and practice leadership to ensure team members are growing toward their next level.
Twelve or more years of software engineering experience, including at least five years in a team lead or tech lead capacity and at least two years architecting systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Highly proficient across multiple technology stacks, with hands-on experience designing scalable systems.
Prior experience in a mentoring, tech lead, or team lead capacity is strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience with emergent AI coding practices using LLM-based coding tools to accelerate design and delivery workflows.
Experience with CI/CD tools and techniques, along with automated unit and integration testing practices.
Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and the ability to mobilize and persuade others toward innovative solutions.
