The APAC Regional Programming team is responsible for maximizing customer value and engagement across the region through data-driven portfolio planning, rigorous content evaluation, strategic release planning, and deep analytical insights. As Programming & Insights Specialist, you will provide essential operational support across programming and insights functions in APAC, supporting the team's strategic long-term planning.
This role requires independent ownership of both programming coordination and research deliverables. You will manage slate data, execute programming mechanisms, support ad hoc research studies, and develop audience insights that inform content decisions. You will also contribute to broader regional initiatives, including worldwide content deep dives and research supporting program growth areas. The ideal candidate brings operational maturity, research expertise, and the judgment to work effectively across a complex stakeholder base spanning Content, Marketing, Planning, and Finance teams.
This role sits within APAC Regional Programming and works closely with local programming teams across the region, as well as cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution of programming operations and delivery of actionable insights.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the local slate for SEA/AUNZ, ensuring accuracy in programming systems and tools
Execute regional/global programming mechanisms including calendar management, scheduling coordination, and cross-functional alignment
Track content pipeline from greenlight through launch, monitoring key milestones and performance signals
Support portfolio planning by maintaining comprehensive views of content mix, gaps, and opportunities
Support ad hoc research studies to answer critical business questions and inform programming decisions
Monitor audience insights identifying viewing patterns, content preferences, and growth opportunities
Analyze content performance data to surface learnings and build repository of insights
Support quarterly business reviews and strategic planning with data-driven analysis
Contribute to worldwide content initiatives including deep dives on key content categories
Coordinate with global programming teams on regional inputs to planning cycles and content evaluations
Build trusted relationships across stakeholders in Content, Marketing, Planning, and Finance
Support senior leaders with materials preparation, analysis, and strategic follow-up
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3+ years of relevant professional experience in analytics and/or operations experience
Experience working with data and leveraging analytics to make decisions
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience in media, entertainment, or streaming video industry
- Knowledge of Southeast Asia and/or Australia/New Zealand entertainment markets and audience preferences
- Background in content programming, scheduling, or portfolio management
- Experience conducting research studies and translating data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight in fast-paced environments
