Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Industrial Trainee to support our Finance Managers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation of monthly financial reports, manage accounts payable and receivable, and provide essential administrative support. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Generate cost analysis reports for all departments, providing insights for budget management.

  • Support brand accountants with monthly closing and ad hoc data analysis

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

  • Work independently and share the analysis with minimum supervision

  • Adhere to all relevant company policies and financial regulations.

  • Support the team with MIS and financial reports during budget cycles

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven proficiency in MS Excel (essential).

  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.

  • Familiarity with SAP (a significant advantage).

  • Prior experience in a similar finance or accounting role (an advantage).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
