We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Business Execution and Performance Management, IWPB India

Role purpose

This role provides dedicated, forward-thinking leadership support to the Head of IWPB India, combining a strategic and transformative mind-set with strong operational discipline, governance and risk management. The role exists to make decision-making more effective, accelerate commercial execution of the IWPB India strategy, and ensure the business operates efficiently and with robust controls—while fostering an accountable, inclusive, high-performing culture across INM.

This is a senior leadership role providing strategic, operational and governance leadership for the Head of IWPB India; acts as a key liaison and “connector” across IWPB, India, Functions and Regional and Group stakeholders and will be a member of the IWPB India Leadership Team.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Role holder will carry out activities that will indicatively include the following (but not limited to)

Strategic leadership & execution

  • Support the Head of IWPB India in shaping priorities, translating strategy into executable plans, and driving delivery of key outcomes across BAU and non‑BAU agendas.

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives across functions; lead special projects and resolve blockers to maintain pace and momentum.

  • Identify opportunities to improve organisational effectiveness; review, design and execute enhancements to operating model and organisational structure where relevant.

Commercial and change execution

  • Support the Head of IWPB India in prioritizing investments along 5 strategic pillars in key markets (strengthen the foundation, turbocharge affluent customer growth, deepen wealth penetration, scale private bank, deliver best-in-class products and solutions)

  • Oversee CTB/VSIP budget, partner with value streams, technology teams to deliver against control & regulatory, proactive risk management, and digital transformation priorities

  • Responsible for establishing a strong cost management discipline through prioritization of budgets, benefit tracking and achieving targets for both Direct within WPB and Indirect by scrutinizing GF attributed/ allocated costs.

  • Support Head of IWPB India in the overall planning and implementation of FRP planning for Costs, Revenue and Technology investment

Operating rhythm, governance & decision effectiveness

  • Support the Head of IWPB India in the preparation of materials for business reviews and governance meetings with the INM CEO and other Senior Management reviews including Board Member visits,

  • Plan, manage and coordinate IWPB India Leadership meetings and other senior forums (e.g., offsites, workshops), ensuring clear agendas, quality materials, decisions captured, and actions delivered.

  • Develop and manage governance, control structures and programme frameworks (committees/meetings, actions, submissions), ensuring disciplined follow-through and transparency.

Performance management

  • Support management oversight of business performance within IWPB India and business lines, including regular market check-ins and business reviews, follow-ups of all country, global and regional initiatives

  • Lead the creation and agreement of the Head of IWPB India Market Head scorecard, including objectives and key results/KPIs to measure and improve business performance.

  • Monitor progress against milestones, budgets, resources and engagement aspirations; implement mitigating actions where performance or delivery risks emerge.

Cross-business collaboration & stakeholder management

  • Coordinate across IWPB India and activities requiring cross-line-of-business and intra-regional collaboration; mobilise inputs from Functions and Product Partners to deliver shared outcomes.

  • Engage senior stakeholders across People, CIO, Finance and other Functions to ensure alignment, timely decisions and progression against plans.

Risk, issues & control

  • Proactively identify, investigate and remediate issues that could adversely impact the business; escalate appropriately and ensure sustainable fixes.

Communications & representation

  • Partner with Communications to shape and execute internal and external communications; support the Head of IWPB India on all key engagements and townhalls

People leadership & culture

  • Embed the business vision and values through “How We Lead”; role model inclusive leadership and build an execution-centric culture grounded in accountability, integrity and collaboration.

  • Support people strategy; rewards and recognition programs for IWPB India.

  • Outstanding relationship management, interpersonal, communication skills; the ability to negotiate and influence across networks of matrixed stakeholders to manage stakeholders to common shared vision.
