Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Preparation

  • Collect, integrate, and prepare data from a diverse range of internal and external sources to support the development of comprehensive data assets.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and readiness for analysis, enabling robust and reliable campaign analytics.

Performance Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and detailed reports that provide clear visibility into campaign performance, including key metrics such as effectiveness and customer response rates.

  • Utilise advanced analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Looker to deliver timely and actionable performance insights to stakeholders.

Insights Generation

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign data to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for optimisation.

  • Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations, supporting the continuous improvement of future marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work in close partnership with colleagues across marketing, product, and business teams to fully understand campaign objectives and business requirements.

  • Deliver tailored analytics solutions that align with organisational goals and drive measurable business outcomes, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Continuous Learning

  • Remain abreast of the latest developments, tools, and best practices in campaign analytics and data-driven marketing.

  • Demonstrate adaptability and a commitment to ongoing professional development by embracing new technologies and methodologies as they emerge.

Documentation

  • Maintain thorough and well-organised documentation of all analytics processes, methodologies, and findings.

  • Ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing by making documentation accessible and understandable to relevant stakeholders.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline analytics processes, enhancing operational efficiency and scalability.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by seeking innovative solutions to existing challenges.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience working within agile methodologies is highly advantageous, reflecting an ability to adapt to evolving priorities and deliver value incrementally.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (or final year student) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field.

  • Fresh graduates from good colleges are welcome.

Technical Proficiency:

Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Cloud Query (like BQ SQL)) are mandatory.

Additional Information

  • The tenure of the Apprentice will be 1 (one) year as defined under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992 amended from time to time.

  • All Apprentices engaged by the Bank will also be featured in NATS portal as an ‘Apprentice’. By virtue of them being covered under the provisions of the Act, a candidate profile will be created for each apprentice in the NATS portal, which will be available to them for viewing.

  • On completion of the one-year Apprenticeship tenure, a Certificate of Proficiency will be issued to the apprentice by the Govt. of India, as applicable under the Act and the enrollment under the Apprenticeship Act will cease.

  • All other clauses regarding the tenure of engagement as an Apprentice with HSBC will stand as mentioned in the offer letter issued by the Bank at the time of joining.
