Citigroup Corporate FX Sales Specialist, Vice President in Mumbai, India
The Corporate FX sales specialist is a non-dealing profile within Citi FX organization with a responsibility to acquire clients in partnership with banking. The salesperson will also be responsible for activating flows, ramp-up of acquired clients and upsell new products including helping with regulatory documentation.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with Banking partners to identify & acquire clients for FX business
Upsell FX to Corporate clients which have been recently acquired
Aid to achieve specified goals in both market and wallet share for the identified clients
Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper understanding of client being targeted for acquisition
Help foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise
Understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
Work in close partnership with control functions such as Banking, Legal, Compliance, Market and Risk, in order to ensure appropriate control infrastructure
Be willing to travel since this is a role to cover clients pan-India
Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience in markets business covering corporate clients for FX & derivative sales
Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on acquiring and growing relationships
An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Education:
- Master’s degree
