Manage end-to-end airfreight export operations (healthcare-focused), ensuring compliant, timely shipment execution while coordinating with internal teams, airlines, and stakeholders to deliver on customer commitments.
How you create impact
Execute end-to-end airfreight operations for healthcare shipments, including booking, order entry, and preparation of all export/import documentation in line with regulatory and compliance standards.
Coordinate closely with Customer Care (CCL) and Revenue Care (RCC) teams to ensure all shipment requirements are fulfilled accurately and within agreed timelines.
Create and maintain shipment records in internal transport management systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates across all milestones.
Organize transport solutions aligned with customer promise, including obtaining Dangerous Goods (DG) approvals where required and escalating discrepancies proactively.
Monitor shipment progress and ensure departure and arrival confirmations, highlighting any deviations and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Manage export consolidations and import de-consolidations, ensuring smooth cargo flow and documentation accuracy.
Review and validate shipping instructions, ensuring alignment with country-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and agreed rate/routing conditions.
Ensure all documentation is issued within 24 hours of departure, maintaining high standards of accuracy and audit readiness.
Track and report on carrier and vendor performance, ensuring strong data quality to support customer reporting and operational insights.
Drive cost awareness and efficiency through accurate cost/revenue updates, supporting profitability and collaboration with CCL and RCC teams.
Support the resolution of claims and disputes, ensuring timely investigation and closure while maintaining customer satisfaction.
What we would like you to bring
Experience: 4–5 years in airfreight operations within a similar capacity
Scope: 90% Export Operations / 10% Import exposure
Industry Exposure: Preferably Healthcare / Pharma logistics operational care
Operational Volume: Handling 10–12 shipments per day (300–400 shipments/month)
Geographical Coverage: Bombay & Ahmedabad
Skillset:
Strong communication skills with ability to build good rapport with airlines and stakeholders
Solid general air logistics operations exposure
Detail-oriented with strong coordination and problem-solving abilities
Certification: DG (Dangerous Goods) certification is an added advantage
Role Type: Individual Contributor (IC role)
