Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all equipment within the facility , following safety guidelines set by Milwaukee Tool . Some troubleshooting and minor repairs will also be included in this role, to support production and help achieve Milwaukee Tools business goals and objectives
Shift Hours
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00-11:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
Performminor troubleshootingtorepairproduction machines and the facilities equipment,assistingin machine uptime
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines,equipment,and plant facilities
Provideassistance tosetup technicians and automation technicians as needed to support production equipment and goals
Source parts as needed for preventative maintenance tasks
Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawing and work directly with outside vendors tomaintainproduction equipment
Recommend preventative maintenance improvements on equipmentand process improvements
Use a variety of hand and power tools,multimeters,and material handling equipment
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Follow all Lockout Tagoutprocedures and always follow safety guidelines
Other duties and projectsasdeterminedby production and business needs
Education , Skills, and Experience
High School Diploma / GEDrequired
Completion oftechnical school course, or an equivalent number of years of experience in a production maintenance environment preferred
Ability to earnforklifttruckcertification,safelyoperateanoverhead crane
Anunderstanding of PLC programmingand ladder logic preferred
Established ability toidentifyand communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
Excellentattention to detailisrequired
