About Muenster Hospital District
In1958, the citizensof Muenster, not satisfied with available medical services, set out to build a new hospital. J.M. Weinzapfel donated the land and spearheaded the efforts to make the hospital a reality. In1960, the BenedictineOrder of Sisters promised Muenster residents that they would provide nurses to operate the hospital. Sister MildredFelderhoff leads theway as the first hospital administrator.

*JOB SUMMARY:*
The incumbent shall be responsible for greeting patients and clients, light paperwork, and housekeeping. They shall conduct themselves in a professional manner while providing work-related duties. The incumbent should also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development. Help maintain a clean and organized working environment for patients, clients, and coworkers. Additional and other job duties as required or assigned.
*JOB QUALIFICATIONS:*
- Education: Incumbent at a minimum must be enrolled in a state approved high school. High School graduate/college course work is a plus.
- Personal Job Related Skills: Knowledge of the use and functioning of exercise equipment.
- Licensure, Registry or Certification: CPR is encouraged
*PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE*:
- Worked in an environment that required communication with clients and light book keeping.
*TECHNICAL TRAINING:*
- None required
*PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS*: Duties of this position require:
- Moderate periods of walking and standing
- Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
The ability to comprehend and follow routine written or verbal instructions or directions.
*TASKS:*
Promotes the mission, vision, and values of Muenster Hospital District.
Maintains HIPAA required and all other confidentiality while working with confidential matters on a daily basis.
Follows safety guidelines and all policies and procedures of MHD.
- Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers and others.
- Assist office clerk with filing and tasks as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping duties and logs to insure a clean environment for patients, clients, and co-workers.
- Ability to assist clients while in the gym with the proper and safe use of equipment.
- Assist in the cleaning of the hydroculator on a bi-weekly schedule.
- Answer phone calls and accurately take messages.
- Communicate and report any problems with clients, patients, or equipment to the wellness center manager.
- Enter and maintain personal time in time clock system.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
