Introduction
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities

As a System Engineer at IBM, you will design, write codes, test, debug and maintain Software applications across various platforms and technologies to help our clients in complex system integration projects.

In your role, you may be responsible for:
Learning and adopting IT architecture skills to effectively design and develop application components and integrate software packages on multiple platforms.
Defining, analyzing and reviewing technical architecture while offering suggested architecture improvement options.
Understanding and detailing requirements and transforming them into architecture solutions.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Für die Skalierung eines bestehenden Teams bei unseren Kunden werden Expertise im Bereich Design, Aufbau und Maintenance für air-gapped und hybrid cloud Umgebungen auf Basis Red Hat OpenShift (ACM, ACS), Azure, Automatisierung mit GitOps, Ansible gesucht.
Required technical and professional expertise
Minimum Skills:
Red Hat OpenShift, mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung, primär als Administrator
Aufbau und Betrieb von Kubernetes / OpenShift cluster
Gute Kommunikation-Skills, Selbstständige Arbeitsweise in Agilen Teams
Routine in agiler Arbeitsweise und Methoden
Hohe analytische Denkweise, Methodik und Lösungsfindung
fortgeschrittene Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mindestens auf dem Niveau B2), Routine in der Kommunikation in Deutsch
weitere Anforderungen:
Erfahrungen im Betrieb und Management von Azur (speziell ARO)
Automatisierung, GitOps / ArgoCD, Ansible und/oder Terraform
Observability (Logging, Monitoring) im Kubernetes Umfeld
Software Defined Storage, Konzeption, Aufbau und Betrieb
Verantwortlich für den Betrieb, die Administration und die technische Betreuung von Red Hat OpenShift Clustern, einschließlich Installation, Konfiguration, Monitoring und Lifecycle‑Management in Enterprise‑Umgebungen
Fokus auf Infrastruktur‑Architektur und Engineering im Plattformbetrieb - keine Entwicklungsaufgaben, sondern reine System‑ und Plattformadministration
Anwendung von mindestens fünf Jahren Berufserfahrung im Bereich Container‑Plattformen, Linux‑Systemadministration oder Cloud‑/Infrastruktur‑Engineering
Wünschenswert ist eine relevante Zertifizierung (z. B. Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration oder vergleichbare Qualifikation), um die technische Expertise im Plattformbetrieb zu untermauern.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Familiarity with Angular.js: Knowledge of Angular.js and scripting technologies like JavaScript and CSS is a strong advantage for this role. • Scripting Technologies: Exposure to scripting technologies like JavaScript and CSS can be beneficial for this position. • Cloud Native Principles: A good understanding of cloud native development principles and containerization/serverless and Servicemesh computing fundamentals is essential, but additional exposure can be advantageous.
