Your role and responsibilities
As a SAP Application Management Sales Specialist, you will focus on Select public and industry accounts. You will understand the client's business needs and align IBM's value proposition based on solution offerings.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Drive Revenue Growth: Effectively utilize digital tools to identify and progress opportunities, partnering across the ecosystem to drive revenue growth and make IBM a vendor of choice.
• Maintain Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date product offering knowledge to act as a trusted advisor, providing solutions that meet client needs and align with IBM's value proposition.
•Align Solutions with Client Needs: Understand the client's business needs and align IBM's solution offerings to address those needs, delivering value to the client and driving business results.
• Utilize Digital Tools: Leverage digital tools to identify and progress opportunities, streamlining the sales process and improving efficiency. • Partner Across Ecosystem: Collaborate with partners across the ecosystem to drive revenue growth and expand IBM's presence in the market.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Expertise experience in shaping AMS deals across a range of technologies including the major ISVs such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce as well as customer technologies. Industrial and public sector experience preferred. AMS delivery experience also welcomed, along with cloud platform engineering services experience but is not mandatory.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Advanced Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscape to inform sales strategies and drive business outcomes.
• Digital Transformation Expertise: Experience with digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technology to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
• Complex Sales Experience: Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles, managing multiple stakeholders and influencing decision-makers to drive revenue growth.
