Job Title: Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician Job Description

As a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. Your role involves supporting the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects. You will also train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.

  • Support the Operations Maintenance team with solutions for complex problems and project management.

  • Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.

  • Manage preventative maintenance planning and maintenance management.

  • Conduct data analysis for control systems and implement Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Utilize CMMS for maintenance supervision and conveyor maintenance.

  • Mentor junior technicians and oversee material handling equipment, sorters, and robotics.

  • Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and risk management.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Pneumatic Systems.

  • 4+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.

  • 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

  • 4+ years of repairing MHE, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment.

  • 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.

  • Demonstrated experience in safety standards.

  • 3+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent diploma.

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75400.00 - $90700.00/yr.
