Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor responsible for leading the maintenance function and ensuring the facility, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role involves overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, supporting preventative and corrective maintenance efforts, and providing hands-on technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, while ensuring compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage maintenance projects, including routine, seasonal, upgrade, and renovation work.

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

  • Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate maintenance team members.

  • Review work orders and maintenance requests; diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and equipment manuals.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and provide ongoing safety training to staff.

  • Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment and facility issues efficiently.

  • Maintain working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and materials.

  • Partner with Accounting to support proper coding of capitalized repairs and maintenance expenses.

  • Support overall facility upkeep to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment.

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant trade experience, which may include apprenticeship or vocational training.

  • Experience equivalent to journeyman-level work strongly preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of machinist tools, equipment, and shop maintenance practices.

  • Understanding of machine shop equipment maintenance and repair.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures, hazards, and preventative practices.

  • General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and welding is preferred.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as business needs require.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moxee, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
