As a Systems Analyst GenAI Intern, you will join our Operations team and support various initiatives related to generative AI. This role will involve working closely with our Director Technology and Operations and other key team members in assisting in the development and maintenance of GenAI models are resources. You will gain hands-on experience in the field of artificial intelligence, contributing to projects that enhance our AI capabilities and improve operational efficiency. Program Details and Requirements:
Premera’s Summer Internship Program is June 15th – August 21st 2026.
To be eligible for the program, you must currently be enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate degree program or have recently obtained your degree (within the last 12 months).
This is a hybrid internship program located on our campus in Mountlake Terrace, WA.
Internship Projects and Goals:
Assistin the development and maintenance of GenAI models and resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows.
Conduct research on the latest advancements in generative AI and provide insights to the team.
Support the implementation of AI-driven tools and applications.
Helpinthe documentation and presentation of AI projects and their outcomes.
What You Will Bring:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's degree program, or have recently obtained your degree (within the last 12 months) (Required).
Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
Experience with programming languages such asPowerBI, R, or Java.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communicationskills, both written and verbal.
Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated with the latest AI trends.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.
National Plus Salary Range:
$44,400.00 - $82,200.00
*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska .
