J&K Alliance, LLC dba: Mosquito Shield of ECNJ, Mountainside, NJ. Daily transportation provided b/w central location & worksites in the following counties: Middlesex, NJ, Somerset, NJ, Union, NJ, and areas of New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ.
5 Pest Control Technician positions available. Temporary full-time position from 4/1/26 to 10/7/26, M-F 7:30AM-4:00PM, 40+ hrs/wk. Schedule/shifts, possible wkend/holiday work, downtime/OT may vary. Wage paid Weekly at $ 26.66/hr to possible $ 60.00/hr; OT $ 39.99/hr to possible $90/hr DOE. Raise/bonus/advances at employers discretion.
Duties: Under the direction of a supervisor, determine appropriate schedule & formulas for spraying based on env factors & customer need. Drive vehicles with power spraying equipment to addresses, perform inspection of insect pest activity, notify customers of pertinent job info. Mix & fill tanks according to formula. Spray areas as outlined in work order w/ proper procedures. Keep accurate records of treatments & tell office staff about issues. Clean & maintain vehicle & equipment used & other related Pest Control Technician activities as per SOC/OES 37-3012 (onetonline.org).
Must be 18 & show proof of legal authority to work in the US. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone & able to lift 60lbs among other physical activities. Must be willing & able to obtain & maintain a New Jersey drivers license for duration of employment. English proficiency.
No min ed requirement.
Must be able, willing & qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period specified & work throughout all areas of intended employment. Possible post-hire background check & random drug/alcohol testing during employment paid at employers expense. Positive test/refusal to abide is grounds for dismissal.
Single workweek used to compute wages due. All deductions required by law & those authorized by worker made from workers paycheck. Employer will comply with all applicable Federal, State & local employment-related laws & regulations such as wages, breaks, hours worked, & overtime hours (paid at 1.5x regular rate beyond 40hrs/wk). Employer to provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies & equipment req to perform job. If worker completes 50 percent of work contract period, employer will pay directly &/or reimburse worker for initial transportation & subsistence costs from place of recruitment to place of employment for those traveling from such a distance reasonably unable to return daily to their residence.
Upon completion of contract or where worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide/pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to where worker originally departed to work, except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/ another employer. Amount of transportation payment/reimbursement equal to most economical & reasonable common carrier for distances involved.
Daily subsistence provided at a rate of $16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68.00/day w/ receipts. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Workers will be offered a total number of work hours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays of each 12-wk pd. Any worker who voluntarily abandons employment is not entitled to payment for the full 3/4s Guarantee.
